Situated in a picturesque village on the edge of the loch, the location was truly stunning. the cottage itself was clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the easy parking and well-equipped kitchen. One of the standout features of the cottage was the cozy sitting area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the surrounding area. I also enjoyed the terrace, which offered beautiful views of the garden and a lovely spot for outdoor dining. the free toiletries provided were a nice touch, adding a touch of luxury to the experience. the grounds were impeccably kept, adding to the overall charm of the property. In terms of activities, there was plenty to do in the area. I ventured up Ben Lomond for a hike and also went on a whisky distillery tour at Glengoyne distillery, both of which were highlights of my trip. For those interested in outdoor activities, there were options such as hiking, canoeing, and fishing nearby. Overall, my experience at North Cottage was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. the combination of the beautiful location, comfortable amenities, and friendly staff made for a memorable weekend getaway. I would highly recommend Luss Cottages as a base for exploring the stunning Scottish countryside.
